Spindle & Motion Architecture

 

Horizontal Spindle Orientation: Like a traditional HMC, the spindle is mounted horizontally, parallel to the worktable, enabling efficient horizontal milling, boring, and multi-side machining.

Simplified Motion System

 

Unlike HMCs, the Economical horizontal milling frames adopt a fixed-column, moving-table, retaining the linear X/Y/Z axis motion of a VMC while integrating a horizontal spindle.

High rigidity casting

 

The machine body is constructed from high-grade cast iron (HT300) with FEM-optimized ribbing, ensuring high static and dynamic rigidity for heavy-duty cutting, similar to HMCs, but without the complex enclosed structure of premium models.

Optional Rotary Table for 4-Sided Machining

 

By integrating a 4th-axis rotary table on the worktable, the machine can achieve fully automated 4-sided machining of workpieces in a single setup, eliminating the need for manual re-fixturing and significantly improving processing efficiency.

Lubrication

 

Central automatic lubrication system: The machine is equipped with a central automatic lubrication system.

Space Efficiency

 

Compared to large, enclosed HMCs, these bed-type horizontal mills have a smaller footprint, making them suitable for workshops with limited floor space.

Operator-Friendly Design

 

Retains the intuitive operation of VMCs, with easy workpiece access and visibility, reducing training time for operators familiar with vertical machines.
