Double Column Gantry Machine Frame

The frames are made of GG30 castings, carefully processed through resin sand molding and a wooden pattern.

The fixed worktable eliminates the need for extra longitudinal travel space, significantly reducing the machine's overall floor area. This makes it ideal for factories with limited workshop space while maintaining full machining stroke capacity.

Since the workpiece remains stationary during machining, the moving mass is minimized. This drastically reduces inertial load and energy consumption during axis movement, while also avoiding positioning errors and vibration caused by heavy workpiece displacement.

With lighter moving components (columns or crossbeam instead of the entire table/workpiece), the machine achieves higher acceleration/deceleration rates and faster feed speeds. This greatly improves machining efficiency, especially for high-speed contouring and complex surface processing.

The machine frames are constructed from high-grade GG30 cast iron, manufactured via resin sand molding and wooden pattern processes. This ensures exceptional structural rigidity, excellent vibration damping, and long-term geometric stability, even under heavy-duty cutting conditions.

The Z-axis is equipped with a dedicated counterbalance system, which effectively offsets the weight of the Z-axis ram, spindle assembly, and cutting tools. This design ensures smooth, precise vertical movement, reduces servo load, and extends the service life of the drive components while maintaining high positioning accuracy.
